FEELING GREAT on Day 7 & 8 of Ultimate Reset

Backache is GONE!! Aches and pains of detox are GONE!!! And I am feeling sooooo so good!!
I’ve noticed a brighter and clearer complexion…younger looking skin. I’ll take that any day!!!

My energy levels are up and and I feel great! The only craving I had is maybe a sip of coffee. I think that may be more because my husband and I went to a coffee shop in the afternoon and I had to order an herbal tea instead of a cup of dark roast. But that “craving” subsided and I enjoyed a strawberry hibiscus herbal tea and was satisfied.

Olivia said she felt great in the morning of Day 7 but by afternoon she was tired. On Day 8 Olivia said she felt TERRIFIC with lots of energy all day long!

So I guess you could say day 7 and 8 were the magic days for us! Full speed ahead!

The food was great on Day 7 and began with a large bowl of oatmeal with apples and flaxseed and a 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt with maple syrup. We had LEFTOVER Zucchini-Cashew Soup and Micro- Greens salad for lunch!! OH SO DELICIOUS!!!! Dinner was Baked Tempeh with brown rice and steamed broccoli. Very savory and filling.

I’m always very thankful for my afternoon shake!! That is my HEALTHY and very delicious snack every day.

Pat reads my posts and he laughed a little at my prior posts of me talking about my aches and pains. He said no one will want to do the detox with me talking about how difficult week 1 is. Haha! I told him that I needed to be real and honest so there are no surprises when you all decide to clean up your bodies from sugar, processed foods, and caffeine.

It might be difficult at first, but the levels of energy and effects you get from taking care of your body with HEALTHY foods FAAAARRR outweigh the few days of possible side effects. AND WHO KNOWS??? You may not even HAVE any side effects! My daughter Olivia only had a little tiredness and no aches. She took an extra nap or two this week. She’s feeling great!!

Both of us have lost around 5 pounds…. even though the main goal of doing this isn’t for weight-loss. We are doing this to be healthy and reset our systems to crave healthy foods and have more energy.

Here’s a look at Day 7 and 8’s meals!
