Your Story Matters

What is your story? What have you been through that has shaped you to become who you are? I bet it involved a trial of some sort. Am I right?

We each have a story or a testimony we can share with others to bring them hope. Maybe you have seen God do something miraculous or maybe you are waiting to see how the story ends. Either way, you can focus on the goodness of God in the midst of the waiting and tell of His peace that surpasses understanding.

Every single person was created by design and for a purpose by a tremendously huge God. Each life is significant and God has a plan to use each one of us to make a difference in the lives around us. We certainly do go through some difficult trials in this life, but God shapes us and molds us through the hard times so we can become more like Christ. If we stay focused on Him and allow Him to shine through us on the darker days, the trials we go through will allow others to see God’s goodness in our lives, even when life is difficult and things don’t make sense.

So what is your testimony? The encouragement you give through YOUR testimony could be a spark that sets a soul on fire for God. Or maybe your story will be the a flame that sets multitudes on fire. It could be the story that brings someone who feels defeated and hopeless "back to life".

Never, ever be ashamed or afraid to share your story of what God has done for you. God placed you right where you are for such a time as this to experience His presence and power flowing through you to reach another soul for the kingdom. You matter to God and your story matters to those around you.
